Unfortunately there is no way to make this site default disabling e-mail notifications.
Therefore, you must manually disable it yourself by following these steps:

  1. Profile button
  2. Preferences button
  3. Set "Always notify me of replies" to "no".
    • Additionally, for any threads you have e-mailing you before you did this:
    • Find each topic
    • Scroll down to the last post on the page
    • Click "Stop watching topic"
